The goal of this project was to refresh the brand identity and modernize the website for Cup Cake Lounge, a local cupcake bakery in Ottawa. The client sought a streamlined, user-friendly online experience that showcases their product offerings, including clear navigation for each cupcake flavour and other menu items, all aimed at attracting their target audience of students and professionals seeking a cozy spot to relax and work.
Streamlined Collaboration and Design Process
To modernize Cup Cake Lounge’s brand while respecting its legacy, we worked closely with the client to refine the colour palette for a 2024 update. We began by redesigning the site architecture, focusing on key pages, and delivered wireframes to confirm structure. With ongoing client input, we finalized mockups integrating the refreshed branding and modern user experience, ensuring a balance between tradition and innovation

These are the typefaces I’ve selected for the website: Giulia, Roboto, Futura PT, and Acumin Pro. Each typeface plays a specific role in establishing the site’s visual identity, from Giulia's unique flair to Roboto's readability and modern feel. Futura PT brings a touch of classic geometry, while Acumin Pro enhances clarity and professionalism. Together, they create a harmonious and visually appealing typographic hierarchy that enhances user engagement and readability.

I’ve also incorporated specific fonts and colour schemes to maintain a cohesive and professional look.
